Sparq Labs ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Sparq Labs (the "App").

We collect minimal information to provide you with the best experience:

• Project Prompts: The text descriptions you enter to generate project guides. These are sent to our AI service to generate your guide and are not stored on our servers.
• Personalization Preferences: Your selected experience level, age range, gender, and budget preferences. These are stored locally on your device only.
• Generated Guides: All guides you generate are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.
• Purchase Information: If you purchase the unlimited guides upgrade, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information.

How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized project guides based on your prompts and preferences
• To save your guides locally for offline access
• To manage your free guide allowance and unlock status

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Groq AI: Your project prompts are sent to Groq's API to generate guide content. Groq processes the text in real-time and does not retain your prompts. Please review Groq's Privacy Policy for more details.
• Apple StoreKit: In-app purchases are processed through Apple's payment system. We do not have access to your payment details.

Data Storage

All your data — including guides, preferences, and personalization settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data. If you delete the app, all locally stored data will be removed.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your personal information to third parties. Your project prompts are sent to Groq solely for the purpose of generating your guide and are not used for any other purpose.

Children's Privacy

Sparq Labs is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 beyond what is described in this policy. The app's age range personalization feature is used solely to tailor guide complexity and does not identify individual children.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information transmitted through our app. All API communications use HTTPS encryption. Your local data is protected by your device's built-in security features.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
